Round Rock has a new farm to table restaurant and boy is this a good one. I love going to the farmer’s market and incorporating it into recipes. This restaurant does just that.
As you approach the restaurant, there’s an awesome outside patio perfect for patty hour. Once inside, you’re greeted by a painted concrete floor that sends you towards the bar filled with a selection of local Texas beer and wine. There’s a great mason jar chandelier and burlap pillow. The menu is filled with American favorites and rotates. The hatch chili white bean hummus is tasty but not hot!
They have great specials like $2 taco Tuesday, happy hour and a great looking weekend brunch. Probably my favorite thing is the chalkboard Texas that tells you the farms and location where the produce, meat and bread being served are located.
This place is a little out of the way but well worth the drive! Greenhouse Craft Food
