September Foodie Pen Pals

Yay foodie pen pals!

It’s been a few months for me but I finally remembered to sign up on time…

This month has been difficult, from the anniversary trip to Italy to traveling the last three weeks for work. And it seems like it’s not going to slow down any time soon. This weekend kicked off 11 in a row where we’re busy…but it was good – hanging with my mom and football with my dad.

Needless to say, I’m sure to have freaked Megan from The Lyons’ Share out. See this was her first time doing foodie pen pals and was prompt on her email. Unfortunately internet was spotty at best in Italy so my response was delayed. Good news she’s persistent and were able to exchange information. I get the box all ready to go filled with European treats and fall baking items and leave to travel to Chicago. Imagine my surprise when it’s still sitting there when I get home…whoops! After a quick email the package was finally on it’s way. I promise it’s not always this way…

So on to Megan. She lives in the Dallas area, is married to a Kevin (that’s Mr. RWB’s name too) and runs The Lyons’ Share Wellness. Her website is about empowering people to live healthier lives by education and recipes. She enjoys running and yoga and cooking healthy food…so maybe the sprinkles and pumpkin pudding were a mistake.

Anyway, she noticed that I liked to snack and often have trouble finding healthy choices. So she sent me some of her favorites!

You did NOT freak me out :), and don’t worry – the sprinkles and pudding will DEFINITELY be used! And ohh that popcorn and those fondants! So delicious! I’m all about eating healthily MOST of the time, and including room for sweet treats! Thanks for your box, too – glad we were matched up and looking forward to following along!
